Interestingly, the valve tubing all goes up on this design which means you never get water gurgles. It is a large bore euphonium, takes a bass trombone shank mouthpiece, 4 front piston valves, compensating system, satin silver finish, Bob Reeves valve alignment. This is one of those early models, showing serial number 19. Designed in the 1970s, Fred Marzan worked with Swiss maker Willson on a line of euphoniums and tubas with unique design features both sonically and ergonomically.
